The oval wash, also known as Flat Filbert or Cats Tongue has rounded hairs, flat ferrule and produces a soft edge. Wash brush is useful for large broad sweeping strokes. Laying in large areas of water or color, for wetting the surface, and for absorbing excess media. Washes, base coating, applying glazes and finishes. Broad flat body for filling in, coming together in the centre to a point. Excellent for foliage, petals and leaves.
