In the tube or in thick application, it presents as a deep, muted violet.

It’s well-suited for shadowed violet areas, dusk skies, moody backgrounds, or where you want violet without high saturation.
On more textured papers, its granulation will add visual interest; on smoother papers, the effects are quieter.
